Despite some rainy showers, the 2017 Club Championships went ahead on Sat 9th Sept and some thrilling tennis matches were played. Afterwards, the BBQ master, Peter Dowd, cooked up some tasty burgers for the hungry players and spectators. Thank you to all who helped make the day a success, in particular the captains, Sarah Jane and Conor, for organising the tournament, to Peter, Amelia and Jill for helping to organise the event and to the volunteers, including Dan, Oran & Pam, who umpired the games.
